West Northamptonshire’s draft Housing Strategy 2027-2032
West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) is inviting views on its new Draft Housing Strategy 2027-2032.
The current Housing Strategy covers the period 2022-2026, and as we begin planning for the next five years, it is important that colleagues have the opportunity to help shape the future direction of housing services across West Northamptonshire.
A six-week consultation launches today and will run until midnight on Sunday 29 November 2026. We encourage all colleagues to review the draft strategy and provide their feedback.
Your comments and insights will help inform the final version of the Housing Strategy, which will be presented to West Northamptonshire Council’s Cabinet for consideration in early 2027.
The Draft Housing Strategy focuses on four key themes:
- Delivering the Homes Our Communities Need
- Becoming a High-Performing Landlord
- Supporting Independent Living and Thriving, Resilient Communities
- Strengthening the Private Rented Sector
