A14 Update – Westbound J2 to the M1 J19 to 12 December 2019
The essential maintenance work continues on the A14 between junction 2 and the M1 junction 19.
Two Week Look Ahead
Work continues on the westbound carriageway with closures from 8pm to 6am, with both carriageways open during the day. Work will be standing down for three nights to accommodate additional pressures on hauliers starting on Cyber Monday next week.
Full overnight closures of the A14 westbound will be in place as follows:
- Monday 25 November to Sunday 1 December.
- Thursday 5 December to Thursday 12 December
Diversion Route
Here is a copy of the signed diversion route, which will take vehicles to the M1 at junction 15 via the A45 / A43.
Please note that there will be overnight closures on the M6 northbound between J1 and J4 this week.
There will be lane closures on the A45 at Chowns Mill Roundabout up until 20 December, but it is not expected that this will add any more time to the diversion.
