Completed essential maintenance works on A14 between the M1 and Junction 2

Highways England report that they have completed their essential maintenance works on the A14 between the M1 and Junction 2.

Unfortunately, during the course of the scheme, more issues were discovered which couldn’t all be remedied due to the weather and ground conditions.  It is anticipated that they will return to carry out the additional activities, in June 2020 at the earliest.  A number of overnight lane closures will be required as well as some full carriageway closures, for which they will provide advance notification.
