Daventry District hosts the OVO Energy Womens Tour 2017

Daventry District hosts the OVO Energy Womens Tour 2017 – the first stage is on 7th June.

This will be the fourth time Northamptonshire has hosted a stage of the Women’s Tour, a five-stage event which attracts some of the best female cyclists in the world.

Last year’s race saw thousands of people across Daventry District gather to cheer the riders on, with commentators on ITV4’s highlights package praising the fantastic level of support shown.

Hosting the Grand Depart is a chance for Daventry District to further capitalise on that excitement, not only boosting businesses but inspiring people in our district to take up sport and exercise.
