Northants Sport Get up and Go Project to prevent falls
The aim is to create evidence based physical activity opportunities to support the frail audience of older adults in the county with a strength and balance class to support and tackle the upward trend of injurious falls occurring in the county and leading to a high proportion of hospital admissions. The sessions all use the evidence based intervention known as OTAGO exercise programme.
