Young People Design Co-Lab – COVID Messaging

Partner organisations from across Northamptonshire have joined up with a group of young people to work on a project aimed directly at young people across the county making them aware of the dangers of coronavirus and spreading the virus across generations, helping them to understand the rules and why we should be all sticking to Government guidance.

Using core messages from NNC and Public Health Northamptonshire, a group of young people have started to create some content which will be shared before Christmas on their own channels, alongside relevant youth organisations and we would love it if this content could be shared as far and wide as possible, on relevant channels and by influencers, ideally with an endorsement, throwing support behind the campaign.  After Christmas, they will be looking at creating further content which will also be shared on relevant channels, but also used in school assemblies, which will focus on the basics (washing hands, wearing masks etc.) and why getting this right is so important. For this content, they would like to get some influencers directly involved with the young people and working with them on creating content which is engaging and relevant.  If you or anyone you know would like to get involved in any way or have any questions, please contact forums@northampton.gov.uk
