Parish Council
Defibrillators
You will all be able to see the new defibrillator on the front of the Loder Hall. Both this device and the new one in Draughton are registered on The Circuit, allowing the Ambulance Service to direct callers to them in the event of an emergency. It is great to have the devices in both villages installed now and the Parish Council are delighted to have provided some of the funds for these valuable assets.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 10 July at 7.30pm. All residents are more than welcome to attend
Maidwell-being
Our last meeting was on Saturday 8 June and we were joined by Keith, who is a volunteer with the “Friends of Brampton Valley Way and Brixworth Country Park”. He shared a lot of ways the volunteers keep both places safe and looking good. They are always looking for more volunteers. If interested please email at hellobvw@gmail.com or find the group on Facebook.
Rita the Refill Van joined us too.
We will not be meeting for July or August and will resume on 14 September. We will have a representative from the West Northants Sustainability Team with information and the “How Bad Are Bananas?” game.
Don’t forget the recycling bins just inside the gate at the Loder Hall.

Maidwell Primary School
We are well into our Summer term now, with our SATs behind us and firmly looking forward to our summer activities. Over the next few weeks we will be enjoying sports day, shuffle-up days (when we meet our new class & teacher for next year), our musical production of Peter Pan and our residential for the children in Key Stage 2.
The summer weather (when it is dry!) allows us to make greater use of our outdoor facilities with lunchtimes on the field and lessons outdoors.
Over this year we have been working closely with our friends at Walgrave Primary and Pitsford Primary and during this term we will also continue to build our ties with them.
