Review of Polling Districts, Polling Places and Polling Stations by Daventry DC
Review of Polling Districts, Polling Places and Polling Stations by Daventry DC
The District Council is currently carrying out a review of Polling Districts, Polling Places and Polling Stations, in line with the Representation of the People Act 1983.
The aim of the review is to:
- Seek to ensure that all electors in the constituency have such reasonable facilities for voting as are practical in the circumstances
- Seek to ensure that so far as is reasonable and practical, the Polling Places that we are responsible for are accessible to all electors with a disability
The initial phase of the review has now been completed and the Acting Returning Officer is consulting on his proposals.
The Acting Returning Officer is proposing a no change for the polling stations currently being used in our parish (Loder Hall and Draughton Clubroom).
